Today's London property bargain

By City Monitor Staff

Two bedroom terraced house in London’s fashionable Harringay district. Kitchen, reception room, roof terrace; under 10 minutes from Piccadilly line and overground stations.

Most properties of this profile are comfortably going for a cool half a million at the moment; this one’s a snip at £235,000. What’s its secret? Well, courtesy of Rightmove, here’s a picture.

The house is, by all accounts, 83 inches wide. You can get two beds in there, as long as that’s all you want to get in.

The house goes on sale via auction in October. To buy it, at recommended mortgage multiples, you’d need an income of £47,000 and half that annual salary in the bank.

London’s housing market is completely and totally fine.
