You don’t need us to tell you about the shocking attacks in Paris last Friday. You already know, and it’s not a topic that a site like CityMetric can even begin to make sense of (although if you do want some updates, our colleagues over at the New Statesman are doing an excellent job).
But it would feel wrong somehow for us to ignore the biggest news story of the weekend altogether. So here instead are a selection of photographs, showing how cities around the world marked the attacks.
